different.
front of car is front
rear or car is rear
so thus....
left hand side is passengers side (also known as near side)
right hand side is drivers side (also known as off side or far side)

went to work back at it, not 100 5 but getting back into life again. I didnt enjoy my day though, it was our show holiday here so should have been on
public holiday rates, however I work for a german ( no offence meant to any germans) but nevertheless he is slightly hitlerish and he doesnt pay
overtime, hardly fair, hardly legal???!!!!

Hi Guys!
I can harly lift my arms from dealing with the right angle drill today. The piece of EZY out that broke off in my sheared fan retaining bolt took me a
good 3 hours and several drill bits to dislodge. Finally I got a halfway decent hole in the bolt, got the new EZY out in, applied torque, and rotated
the crankshaft. Yay! Here I was thinking I might get lucky and the bolt would just come on out. Nope!
So now I have to secure the crank to apply torque. Anyone got a nifty simple trick for me? In my Chilton's manual, they reckon I should drill a piece
of steel corresponding to the pressure plate holes. I'm having nightmares about drills as you can imagine. Any nasty way of doing this?

easy man. chock one kid under each wheel for a bit of traction and your home free!! if hes too little feed him more food hahaha. either that or remove
the starter motor and jam some thing thats not going to break but still fits in the hole between the flywheel teeth to stop it from turning. its a
common practice to remove harmonic balancer bolts (crankshaft pulley) for some cars. otherwise turn the ignition on and let the engine do all the
turning (if it turns the right way that is) for you, just need to secure the tool somehow.....but i advise against that one.....its pretty
suicidal.....

The problem with the kids is - how do you stop 'em screaming? I might miss some important engine noise with that technique. You trained any to be
quiet yet Laurie? And if you have - can I borrow them?

Did that work for you Tim? Let's work up an anti northern NSW marketing campaign! Oh, the fact that YOU moved there has kind of done the job for us!

I am so frustrated I could freak out! And it's my wedding anniversary today!
I finally had my hole in the sheared bolt yesterday, had a crack with the EZY out, and a piece of the bolt broke off. the hole is no longer centred,
and the EZY out now contacts the thread. I think I've just ruined my crank. Any idea what this is gonna set me back to replace? I cant have a new
thread machined in can I?
