Well done Jak! :thumb
I still remember being stunned into silence the first time I put my foot down in the speedster after fitting the turbo lump, I was sure I had just
written my own death certificate!
You'll be wanting more boost on a couple of week though...
How is ground clearance with everything shifted forwards?

That looks fantastic Jak
How or what did you hang all the rear metal work off? (once you removed it to fit the engine in) ie back part of the guards and the rear apron etc.
And have you sorted out how to do your bumper mounts?
Cheers
Jeremy

The rear apron just bolts straight up, the gaurds bolt on like normal, amazingly it's still more than capable of holding the rear bumper as I have
retained the bumper mounts. I'm going to run 2 mm thick, 25mm wide steel on the inside of the guards to make it even stronger, & also heavily
lighten the bumper & the bumper bar brackets to compensate even more, I'll make some bumper bar brackets out of alloy later on down the track.
regards
Jak

aaaahhh, so I guess you just cut around the heads / cam cover without removing the bumper/ guard mounting sections?
Some of the other conversions I've seen leave the car looking like a Baja, which leaves very little to bolt bumpers / rear aprons back to...
alloy bumper brackets- neat, I've often thought about drilling the rear bumper to help even up weight distribution....
Cheers
Jeremy
