Well after 2 1/2 years gathering dust and rust I will soon be working on the project again . Today is a very special day for me as of 2nd of May 2008
I now own a 3300cc Pauter modular engine . This is the new engine that I have decided on and after saving the funds for the best part of over 2 years
, today I am over $13000 out of pocket . If you think thats a lot of money just remember that is the 50% deposit needed to start producing the engine
components . I will be heading to the US in 3 weeks time to pay for and pick up the engine . I will let you know all of the spec's soon as I am now
able to produce a lot more horsepower than I had ever imagined . This engine components are built to my spec's and will be supplied as components
only , so a step by step building story will be posted as it happens . Thanks for all of the people that have supported me over the past 3 years ,
ROD.

Nice one big Fella. Be good to see another Volksy run in sport compact especially with the "big boys" like Pac and Dyson etc etc. Another piston

I am back in the country and cannot sleep due to the time difference , jet lag and draging 7 extremely heavy bags through customs containing lots of
aluninium , steel , cro-moly and titanium stuff . This stuff will be sorted and pic's posted in the next couple of days . I am starting to get real
enthusiastic again and will be ready to start it soon , ROD

90mm x 108mm engine
Here are some quick pic's of the new engine . This engine has a billet flanged 90mm stroke with 108mm bore , ford main bearings , small block chev
large jnl big ends , 6.3'' cro-moly conrods , billet roller camshaft set-up with 281* @ .050 and .438 lift with 1.5 billet aluminium roller rockers
and a total of over .670 lift at the valve , 58mm titanium intakes and 44mm titanium exhaust valves , vasco 1.550'' triple springs and titanium
retainers and a centre flo 4 stage dry sump pump . This engine is built using a conventional style of copper head gasket as per a normal water cooled
engine , as the top of the cyl's and the base of the heads are machined flat . This engine combination has been previously tested and run in a sand
drag car in the US and is capable of producing over 1200 hp @ 35psi boost on a single turbo application . I hope you will enjoy the next couple of
months , ROD.

3.3 litres of fury! Looks the goods alright!
Have you given much thought about what the turbo setup will entail? Perhaps a pair of custom trimmed GT35R's or something simular to the HKS 3037's
they run in parallel in the 8 second GTR's. They are rated around 700hp each.
We are all keen to know your thoughts!
