Hello Dave,
I'm always intrigued by this video, what type of spoiler is that mounted on the front. Modified Kamei Beetle Spoiler?...It looks very Kool, I would like one for my Fastback.

Its just a standard Kamei spoiler. I made a couple of brackets to hold it at the angle I thought looks best.

Dave,
I don't quite understand what you mean by "standard Kamei spoiler". Is it a spoiler made specifically for the Type 3's, or one that was made for the Beetle and you made brackets to make it fit your Type 3. Please tell me more.
Much Appreciated.

Sorry, its a beetle spoiler as far as I know that I picked up at a show.

I think Kamei made 2 versions, one for a torsion axle bug and one for 1302's and 1303's but I cant be sure which this one is.

I modified one for my bay as well;

Kamei Spoiler

The spoiler looks awesome on both vehicles.
Here's a photo of a Kamei spoiler, is this the style I should be looking for?
Thanks

That looks the same as mine. I mounted the top edge to the bumper and used some plastic brackets between the bottom edge ans the bottom of the wings.

I made my brackets from plastic numberplates (uk style) so that if I hit a kerb or anything the bracket would break and save the spoiler from breaking.

Nice ride mate :)
I think I know where that shot is taken. It's in a great looking deco garage with a window tinting place attached yeah? I think I've noticed them selling a couple bugs in the past. Do they work on VW's often?
Cheers
