boostloosing photowhore
looks like ur back left could afford to be pushed outwards about an inch, could be the angle though but it seems to sit way further into the guard,
lookin good though

i havent swapped that back guard over yet, its still the old one which is pretty badly pulled outta shape which is why theres a gap on that side
Steve, I vow never to own another set of 18s again, rolling on those 18" mako rims the other week reminded me why.
roads around here are too rough, i feel every bump and rutt in the road, but thats with 35 series tyres which are like fanbelts.
the 225/40s i originally had on them were better but just to wide for stock guards
the new Lite-7s are 17x7 running falken Ziex 215/45 on the back and 205/40 on the front

Hi Joel
I'm looking into 18 inch tyre size choice, I've seen some very bad sizing on bugs with 17s & 18s, I want to get it right. Luckily the roads
aren't too bad around here and the Pacific goat track is getting better all the time.
Steve
Btw those photos are really pretty, you should do calendar LOL

cheers, they came out ok for a low $$ camera
tyre sizing is so frustrating, ive been through so much trial and error trying to get it right
old cal looks look awesome with fat rears and skinny fronts for that gasser look but i prefer matching tyre size front and back on a germanlooker
215/40 all round looked good and filled the gaurds out nicely but i was getting rubbing when cornering hard under brakes and the steering gives alot
more feedback on uneven road surfaces i guess due to the wider footprint
205/40 on the front is perfect but look to small on the back so i compromise.
the difference isnt too noticable and i was so stoked when these new rims allready came with those sizes

Ok so I've gone for a very subtle look change
but presently the jury's having a tough time reaching a verdict as to whether it stays or not, so just wanted to get others opinions
i wanted to go for a more simple, clean german look
so it was looking like this:
most noticable change is it's lost its token red bumper strips for rubber impact ones
also all the blacked out trim is swapped back to original chrome, germanlook mirrors gone, original running boards and stock tail lights
I'm giving it a week to see if i like it, presently it just seems a bit plain, i dunno...
might leave the taillights and bumper strips but put the blacked out trim and colour coded headlight rims back on
what people think? yay or ney?

that was my original intention when I got them but there only a few years old and dont have a mark on them so I've been umming and arrhring
the colour they are now is really unique cos they switch between gold and silver
but charcoal would look good

Chrome headlight rings
Chrome trim
Original Running boards
Black bumper strip
Mirrors I'd go back to what you had
taillights I agree with Simon, smoked would look better

i prefer the white head light surrounds.
smoked tail lights looked better.
definatly looks better with the indicators in the bumper.
still think you need to do something about the rear end. even though, it feels like such a nice ride when you go in it.

the vitaloni mirrors probably wont go back on
they look the part but i dont like them, theyre too small
but i do still have my old black brazillian mirrors still
they're ok, big and clunky but more functional atleast
the clear elephants feet are doing the typical brazillian thing and just starting a hint of yellowing, and this car lives it life undercover so stock
lights will stay this time
but will probably swap the trim and running boards back

While I am a big fan of the Vitaloni's, I think the the new/stock trim suits your wheels better. But I do think smoked tail lights will look
better.
Drop me a line if you want to sell the Vitaloni's!
