Common sense says that it is a new car so it will take a bit to get it track ready . and as for the dyno ...If it did not go on the dyno it would not be going to Warwick. Do you think that just because we are in Australia we dont know anything . The Quality of the Australian Drag cars are equal to that in any other country (even yours).I would appreciate it if you did not leave any more comments on this post if they are either negative or just plain stupid

Interesting idea running the fuel line through the channel.... Is it braided the whole length?..... Obviously your fitting grommets at either end, but does the line need to be tied down in there at all?
Fantastic progress Chris... I have total respect for your efforts, and I'm so glad you didn't paint the car orange!

yes grommets are at both ends and the fuel line is braided all the way to the rear . And with the braid it wont need to be tied down

transmission assembly of the gear train . ratios are 3.0 / 2.0 / 1.59 / 1.30 . The gear carrier housing required substantial clearancing for the 4th gear set , reverse gear required substantial clearancing for the much larger 2nd gear set and the Berg pinion bearing plate required substantial clearancing for the very wide and much larger 1st gear set

we put my bug on the dyno @ South Coast Rotary this afternoon and my 2387ml type-1 turbo engine produced 238bhp and 1245lbs of tractive effort after Wayne from WPVW tuned the weber carburettor and the MSD ignition

I am very happy with the results and my bug will be ready for warwick after we fit the new wheelie bars tonight
