Morgan
enjoying the build, looking forward to stealing some of your ideas. I have a lot of respect for a man who can cut, weld and drink beer (who said we
can't multi task).
What are you planning with the front end? an alloy unit or modify the original?

Dont you hate when the 2nd one turns out so much beter than the 1st one that you have to make the 1st one again.
Going alloy king and link beam Michael.
Get the sills and body in position this weekend pick up molly next week to start on the cage. Not moving the beam till I have the body and front end
mounted so I can get it as far forward and low as posible. Cant find the plug for my camera so sorry no photos tonight.

I got the fun job of cutting the inner skin out today!!!
This way made it alot easier!!
Morgs finished his new lightweight sills then we started getting the body square on them.

A question for you brad and any one else who has passed ANDRA tech
Roll cage base plates The book says 6mm thick 10cm square but I'm sure I've seen them done in 3mm. I'll be mounting the base of the main hoop and
front bars on the new sills, what thickness plate do I need (I would prefer 3mm)

Latest book says 3mm plate ok of 9 square inches in area, that is 3" x3",
or any shape that equates to 3 square inches as long as the shortest side is no less than 45mm.

Would anyone have a drivers side door they want to donate or part with for a little cash?

You would have to do some serious cutting to get this cage in your car Humpty it's pretty tight maybe to tight.
Back half is finished.
