That's because you'd never get anywhere!!! (And you could get booked for 'speeding' ie..obstruction of traffic..going to slow!!)
Imagine the strain on the engine..running flat chat..in all gears..and still getting passed by a vespa!
i want warm weather! it's just not hot enough here in the uk!.

i'm noticing that england has started cooling down a bit and i must say i am disappointed. i want it to be summer still and i will be bloody glad
when i get back to aus. so glad in fact, that (i can tell you) it is 100days before i leave england to come home.(mind you i have another 20-30hrs
travelling before i get there)
and that means that there are only 81 days left working at this school. (well it's only actually like 60, caus i now get sundays off and only have
to work a few satarday morniongs and things) but still. Can't you tell I'm excited???

Hi Zac
So how long have you spent over there so far? and what made you want to go over there? Its something I wish I would have done before starting a
family, too late now, if Im lucky I may be able to get there one day as a tourist. I am already saving for Bad Camberg in Germany (3 years away) hope
I have the funds to make it across the channel as well.
What city do you live in in Australia. When you get back I may have to come and visit and get some tips.

Hey Rob.
(you musn't've seen my comment about your age...oh well)
I Live in geelong, Victoria. I've been over here since the 1st of january (left 31st december), and i don't leave here until the 30th of december at
10.30pm.
basically after 12 years of school...some boarding, one year in the mountains at 'timbertop', i was just ready to have a break. Put some distance
between my older sister and my parents, and get some independence. (don't get me wrong, i love them to bits, but just wanted some space to do my own
things )
i went to california over the summer as you know..i spent 40something days there, and i only paid for 7nights of accomodation. i don't know how i did
it..i just do. people must like me or something (god knows why haha)
yeh anyway, i have friends (and an ex) that live in pymble. and i was planning on doing a trip up there in either my golf, or the type 3 after i get
back. so if that happens, i'll be sure to come and visit all you guys (maybe even get a famous krispy kreme that still eludes me!) if i time it
right, i want to get some more 'drag' (racing) practice in as well.

Hey Zac
Yep you have definately done the right thing, you only have your youth once and traveling at your age is something that you cant experiance in the
same way when your older! Travel at any age is good, but its not the same as when your young, and UNATTACHED.
I have been just about everywhere inside Australia, (motorcycle) but I have never had the Joy and excitement of O/S travel, something I desire to do
with a passion. I have made a savings plan to get to Germany for Bad Camberg, and hopefully a friend of mine who sold me Pige, will want to come too,
he is a very experianced O/S traveler, he has been to the show before and spent some time living in London, Greece and Germany, then they campervaned
and thumbed around europe for a year. I love hearing about their adventure's but it's a bit bitter sweet for me, because I want to do it for myself
so badly! I just have to wait for the big one and console myself with a visit to Germany.
Germany has a very strong lure for me. Both the cars and motorcycles I love, Volkswagen, and BMW of course are from there and. I cant wait to see
their respective museums. My grandmothers grandparents were also German, so I have a bit of the Germanic blood in me some where, although you would
think I was Italian or Maltese by looking at me!
As for the age bit, Im 38 turning 39 in december. I wish I was older. I know that may sound strange, but if you look at it this way you will
understand! I like the simple things in life. I love nice things to look at. And I don't think that there has been a design period that can match the
Art Deco period, for asthetic pleasure, and then most designs up to the early 60's Thats when bakerlight was superceded by the dreaded plastic
abominations of the 70's IE, plastic dashboards! plastic everything! and also, car design cloning, its got that bad today that you can't tell the
difference between a holden and a ford, not that it matters to me! All the curves, that were prevailent in the 40's and fifty's have gone out of
designs of today, and thats applies to just about everything including women! If you walk through a 1920's to 1950's house every piece of furniture
and the apliances (fridge, radios, even hoovers ect) has an individual style, and could be considered a work of art in it's own right. not like the
sanitised versions we have today!
I also miss the womens fasions of the period. I love to see a lady in a nice dress with stockings and court shoes, and mabe some gloves and a nice
coat. not jeans that are too short to cover their backsides, and tops that look like a piece of underwear!
I leave you with this picture of what I consider is a nice lady and the cars and design's from the same period are also my favorite's.

Hi Zac
What I mean is, when your young and don't have a regular girl, you can play the field and not feel guilty about it, you know, sow your wild oats so
to speak!
Me and Jodie met and started going steady at a very early age. Im 38 and I have been with Jodie for 20 years, both of us have not had what you would
call a lot of experiance with different partners. She was quite young, and I sometimes wonder if she feels like she may have missed playing the field
herself!
On the ladie's/girls of today comparo. You can definately say I am old fashioned. And its not looking through rose coloured glasses or being
sentimental (I am prone to that) I really do like the old fashions, and the way women presented themselves. Sadly things have gone way over the line,
to the other side I sort of blame Germain Greer (I always wondered if she was really a man) for a lot of this, she thinks she pioneered womens lib,
but women were doing quite alright long before she was on the horizon. Remember the womens workforce during the war! ladie aircraft engineers, diesel
mechanics, ect ect! Qantas employed one of these ladies (aircraft engineer) to work on the flying boats based at Rose Bay, and she got the same pay
rate as her male conterparts. Getting back to the subject.
The fashions of today, and this attitude of Girl Power, have contributed to the demise of femininity. Its a good thing for a women to be confident,
and be respected, but I think some take it too far! and become obnoxious and overbearing (just like some male's) I can give you this example. A few
months back, I opened the door and stepped aside for a young women (20's), at the local post office, she told me "I can do it for myself thank you"
when I do the same thing for people in their 50's they always say thank you! so the result is that now I won't bother being courteous to young women
anymore, I basicly ignore them, for fear that I may be a chauvinist pig! Another thing that worry's me is the unashamed use of bad language, and
manners. I can't believe what I hear while walking behind highschool girls of today, Jodie also is sickened by it! I realise that swearing is not new
to girls, but in the past they were a little more discrete!
As for the clothes I don't know where to start. Ill say this though. I can't understand why someone would pay top dollar for a pair of faded and
ripped with holes in them jeans! then get a pair of worn out sneakers, a tee shirt with some disgusting logo on it. Dye their hair two shades of pink
and then complain because their boyfriend isn't romantic enough, you know the flower's and poem bit. Just imagine sitting across from that image of
a women, for a candlelight dinner! put miss Ekberg in the same situation and in my eye's your on a winner!
Please bring back feminisim!

yeah robo, im a big believer/practicer in old skool charm the men of the day use to use. for instance i always open the ladies car door first and
doors to building ect, ect. Its sad too see that my generation are being brought up to do everything themselves and not be pampered as they use to be

as for the faded jeans and worn out shoes, my main disbelief is the "dirty look" jeans they have that look dirty ALL THE TIME !!!!?!?!?!?!?!? whats
the go there dont people wear clean clothes anymore ? :duh
Also jenz have you thought of the classic marilin munro picture over the air vent ? its the classic senario of the alledged perfect woman, that
everyone idolised. While stenciling her will some what breakdown her image down into black and white (or blue in the case of your car) and almost make
fun of the simplicity of human desires ???
anyways that was just my morning after the night out dribble....

I have to say I don't like the way society is heading as a whole! social behavior is definately taking a big nosedive! Advances in medical research,
engineering, and our growing concern over protecting the environment are the positives of today. But as for the reast of it, they can have it! If
there really was such a thing as time travel, and you could get off at any time you wanted, the 1940's/50's would be the time for me! Jodie thinks
along the same lines.
Governments are getting far to unaccountable and the top end of town is getting way out of control, in the money stake's. The people at the bottom
of the social economic ladder are being forgotten and are dissmissed as "not relevant" This whole U.S Iraq, thing is just the beginning of the end
as far as I can see! How long it take's is just a question of time. I often wonder if there is any resemblance to a movie that I saw once called
"the oddessa files" it was about a secret group of German SS officers that were still operational after the cessation of WW2. They were still in
control of world affairs! I have to wonder if some of these world rulers (governments) have an unwritten law and collaborate together for financial
gain in the same way! It definately looks like it to me. I mean how can a government sit back and watch what amounted to genocide happening in East
Timor, and only get involved when they realise that the place has an untapped amount of oil and gas! Sounds a bit like what happened to another oil
producing country recently.
The last two times I can think of when the people were in a similar albeit worse situation, the leaders of the day were exicted by the peasants, the
