Yeh Robo. I'll second that! I think (as an 18year old) that most of the teenagers lifestyles nowadays have gone to shit. The time I spent in the US
really opened my eyes. I've always been a student..you know, i was brought up to work hard, get good grades etc. Well, the girl that I met in
england, she seemed fine..but it was slightly different when I got to california.
All her and the group of people that i hung out with were concerned with, was getting drugs, and getting pissed. i hadn't been exposed to that sort
of environment. like..a group of 13-17year olds, buying grams of coke, and 'tenner' sacks of weed, so they can smoke a blunt, and then sitting in
the street and begging passers-by for money so they can buy alcohol. i was really shocked on the inside. i still however, resisted the temptation..i
didn't have a need for it really.(i do love alcohol thou :P:P in moderate amounts of course)
and yeh..i can really honestly say that i'm not up with the fashion. i don't waste my money on 'designer' labels when i'm quite happy wearing
target stuff :P:P (i do have a very nice suit that was a treat tho...) either way, i don't think even my generation really appreciates the way things
are..(or how they used to be!!)

50's ads.... fantastic images in it....Marilyn is there......there was a really good stencil image from the original 'Vertigo' movie poster that
got my interest.....

I had a great day yesterday...recovering today...it's cold and wet and I can't get my act together....partied until late.....would rather be in bed
right now but gotta get some things done which includes checking on here from time 2 time
....was at d best blues jam session last night at a party....god I love music....Hah...was drunk just enough to play d Guiro (Scraper)... fun

Bought some new dress rims for the beetle today since I stole them to put on the Notch...I think all is forgiven.
Used my fathers day present to tune the notch today (timing light)
and the dwell was a mile out running sweet now.

Yep.....Top day, always good to get out in her and have a bit of a spin!
Dropped in to my mates place and picked up Jodie's Beetle body, it's finished being painted, and now the assembly process begins. Jodie is stoked,
and already has the whip and big stick serviced and ready to go! Looks like my life is going to be hell for the next couple of month's. Is it ready
yet, is it ready yet, when is it going to be finished. Its started already! as soon as I got it home, those questions were asked!
Ah well, at least i have a legitimate excuse to stay in the garage for the rest of my life!
