haha funny you should say that man... those fuel clamps and brether hose were a pain to get on
looks like i might need some of those 90* breather fittings, i can't get the hose to fit!
got my drums back today and bought 2 more seal kits and a VWMA mag so hopefully will give the backing plates another crack tomorrow morning.

yep.
well its rolling now... and looks pretty sweet. got the new seals in etc. and put drums back on then plonked it down on the Brms
the only thing is, I broke the 2 steel brake hoses coming from the backing plates and can't unscrew the broken piece where it connects to the rubber
line. so I am not able to connect the new steel lines up not sure
how im gonna get them off...
will post pics tomorrow

Thats exactly how i work on my cars! And how i spend almost every day, boardshorts, t-shirt and thongs.... Usually with some dark sunglasses and a
camera on me as well though....
On a side note... your aircleaner setup... can that be run on standard carbies or do you need other ones?

yeah those air cleaners only fit dellorto and weber carbs. the stock air cleaner works better though in my opinion as it circulates the air like it
was designed to from the side vents. i would use the stock air cleaner on mine if it fitted on the dells
