ignition, brakes, steering, gauges all done. I started it up and blew the seal on the screw on oil filter, what a mess.. oil sprayed all over the
driveway and it took about a hour to clean it up.....better here than at the track!!!

Yeh Matt, not going to paint it yet. If you don't mind might leave it undercoat and fog a German cross over the top ( like your off road monster) I
thought getting it on and off the trailer in the first 12 months it will get trashed.

Good stuff Frosty !!!
Big ass wing on the back, paint scheme would have to be flat aluminum, dark grey roof, German crosses and a big sharks mouth on the front.... lets go
Messerschmitt style !!!

Sorry to bring this back to a technical chat, but I have a question about the steering rack placement.
From the image shown above, the angle of the tierods looks to be very severe... Would those sort of angles present excess bumpsteer into the setup?

Hi Humpty, I have kept the rack as close to the top beam as I could, from this the in and out movement that gives bump steer is minimised because the
tie rod moves in the same plane as the trailing arm. (Hope that makes sense) this is the same position I had it in the old black car and there wasn't
one bit of bump steer. I'll take a couple of more pics from the side to help explain.
Thanks
Jason

Yeah mines the same, with a short rack and longer arms works well
