Yeah, not polishing anymore. I still wish I could, but it would take weeks even using all my spare time. I'll see how the new paint turns out. 
Had no probs getting the dull old paint off, except my arm's sore as! :P
Will hopefully re-paint them tonight, pics shall follow if I do.

i bought a dremel like tool the other week from bunnings.. to polish my oil filler and alternator.. tiny little wire brush is awesome

Painted them all tonight, metallic silver! I must say it's very GGRRRRR when bits of miniscule stuff land on my freshly painted wheels! Makes me wish
I had a vaccuum sealed shed or something for painting.... not that I do this often enough...... but still. They're not perfect, but better than they
were.

My wheels and centre caps are now all painted and clear-coated.
They get put back on my car on Saturday morning with some new front tyres.
Still not happy with how they turned out.... makes me wish I had a proper paint gun.
But oh well, they look fine from a distance and are much better than they were before!

Wow... I didn't think there'd be much of a difference with the clear coat on the wheels, but there actually is! I haven't polished them up yet, but
here's a couple of pics:

They get re-fitted on my car tomorrow morning.... I so can't wait to see what PBB will look like with silver-silver wheels!
