Well, time for some update pics - after several months of happy motoring Ben has decided to sell the notch as he now has a ratty double door panel splitty which he wants to get on the road (easier to fit his mals (surfboards) in there than the notch!).

So I was given the task of giving it a full cut and polish plus a general detail in readiness for the sale (contact Ben (whereisfelicity username on AVD) about it).

So here are a collection of random pics to give prospective buyers a good idea of condition as of yesterday when the pics were taken.

It's hard to capture the Xirillic (sparkly metallic) in the paint but this pic sort of shows it off:

Oh yeah, this is why Ben is selling - as you can see the old girl needs some time and money thrown at it...hence the sale of the notch:

G'day Matty, a lady on the north end of the gold coast bought the notch off Ben....PM "whereisfelicity" on dsk which is Ben and he might have contact details (or email him on the above email address).

Here is Ben's ratty low panel, been on the road for quite a while now!

Dam Matty, the shine coming off the paintwork and your noggin' would have been blinding to other motorists!

Just re-read this thread too Al, and really goes to show how far you're come over the past few years with Das Resto Haus, something to be truely proud of. We're certainly proud of ya! ;)

Thanks guys, by no means is this a show car per se and not having gone back to bare metal there are a few spots that are bubbling......this is why I now only do bare metal resto's on all of our cars, as without doing this one cannot be assured problems won't come from under previous paint jobs.

In saying that, Ben's old notch certainly stands out from the crowd and from what the job cost (plus doing it at home) it came out extremely well!

Cheers
Al
