Yeh that was about of much as england as I saw. I went to oxford for 7 nights,and then I went to Cambridge for one. Those are 3 spanish sisters that I
met at the youth hostel..the ended up cooking me dinner the night I left and stuff. We had mad fun clubbing and stuff.

Hi all!!
I'm still here just not online a lot :jesus
Freezing in Melbourne and so wet......there's ice in the air today and I'm rugged up....
Lou and I have to clean Dr L...there's a concourse tomorrow for the 50th Year of the VW in Australia...I hope the weather clears up for it!!!
Tonight we're off to the VW club dinner dance at the RACV rooms in Melbourne....I've booked a room in town so we don't have to drive home....
Bel's doing well....we went to see her on Tuesday.....The guy who's done all the panel beating on her did his apprenticeship with Rolls Royce in
London........
He was putting a smear of filler over her and sanding on Tuesday....she's almost ready to be primed and painted...I've selected my colour and Ingid
is going to spray me a sample panel.......
I'll have to get my pics up soon....with this lousy weather now I should get it done soon.....
Gunna jump in a hot shower now to warm up...hopefully it stops raining soon so we can wash the car!!!!

Good to hear that work is moving along with Bel Jenz.
So what colour did you choose? Is it being kept under wraps until the pics are up or are you just gunna surprise us? (*not fussed either way*)

Mate it was good seeing you again too
Glad to hear Pidge went well. (still reckon it needs to be lowered-ducks for cover again)
Every thing went great with the parts I scored till I told her I got them for her for Mothers Day.
She grabbed the bag of goodies said thanks and dissappeard with them.
Called my bluff you might say
Anyway got my bits back and everythings cool.
Let her keep the "VW FREAK" coffee mug though.
Jenz glad to hear bels coming along..can't wait to see the colour.
All alone at the moment Sue's at her awards night all the kids in bed so I just finished watching Kill Bill...mmmm good but different.

Heh All,
hoping to buy a digital camera this week so i can post some progress pics of the splitty.Rob your probably going to hate what i'm going
to do to her as nothing is going to be original!!!!!!
I had a scary situation on the way to a market last Saturday morning.I was driving along sitting on about 100 & this freak gust of wind jolted
the kombi & there was this really loud noise from within the car that scared the absolute *#*# out of me.Anyway i pulled over & realised the
poptop had popped open as i was driving.The force was so strong that it ripped the clips that holds it down out of the wall of the car.

The winds have been so bad here for days now (though yesterday was a pleasant relief....)....Freezing, wet and windy again today....I'm so not
inspired to do anything....I've got the battery charging on my camera and will try and download the pivcs I've got on it.
My hours have been changed again at work....and cut!!!! I'm at Head Office for now helping them get through a back log of work in Marketing which has
been neglected since some left a few months ago.......:jesus

hehe...cmon robo, everyone loves a lowered car maha
(what is this gang up on robo and pidge hehe???)
the problem that i had was that you think a vw golf is low already, and then when you drop it down you realise just how low it really is (yes it scraps the ground every now and then)...oh, and as a tip, when in
traffic jams, don't try driving over the center divider (like a big gutter..)
i did it a while ago in the golf. it was okay on the way up, but on the other side i connected with the tow bar on the way down hahaha. must've
looked a real treat for the rest of the traffic jam to see a L plater hang a Uie, chip concrete off the gutter witha tow-bar, and then smoke up the
tires in one fluid motion...
oh, where was i? yeh robo...lower pidge!!
neways, that's my random story for the day.

Sometimes you just have to know when to be nice. But I can tell you that my old girl will never see what an adjuster looks like, no cutting off rear
apron's or any of that stuff. But I did fork out some dollars on some whitewall insert's today so I should have them on her for the club run in a
fortnight!
