The push rod tube seals have always been an issue on these heads.
It seems they have been riding up on this edge.
I was going to just break out the die grinder,
but I thought it deserved something a little nicer than that.

So I made up this cutter.
It chucks into the drill press and pilots on the head hole.
Finished hole allows the german seals to seat with no sealant....but may use a dab of Curil T to be sure.

Yep ! old motor is now prime and looking sweet . Dave help me out heaps and did another fine job .Thanks buddy !
Well the excitement is building for as all of us and everyone knows I don't keep secrets to well .Paint should be finished Tuesday and refit motor
then go racing .Carbs had a chemical dip and rebuild too.
