G'day Izac, just thought I'd check in and see how the squasre is travelling mate.

The axles have been done for a couple of weeks now, have you found any issues/problems or is everything AOK?

Catch ya mate,

Paul

hey paul, nah mate unfortunately it hasn't seen much road time at all :grind:
the axle tubes have been leaking like crazy and the brakes are shocking among other problems.

Its in at Phoenix engineering at the moment getting the brakes redone - new rear wheel cylinders, rehoned front wheel cylinders, new shoes, etc etc...

not gonna be cheap.. but hopefully they will sort out everything, they also told me the axles were leaking because there were no 'outer axle sleeves' on. so that should fix it ;)

hope you get it sorted soon mate....and yes, you gotta have good brakes, there's no second chances when you run out of 'em!!

what sleeves are they talking about on the axles, is it a seal or something on the end?

all the best mate,

Paul

its a round bevelled metal spacer thing about 12mm thick that goes on the end of each axle.

Make sure you clip the ignition leads into the correct place, Type 3's leads are know for earthing out on the engine cover.
