What a great weekend Mick and I had! We really got a shit load done. Mick's car runs awesome straight up! That's one going to Warwick now we have the mammoth task of completely building a whole race car in 3 weeks:crazy: .

Here's some pics of the new fuel cell, and the motor is back from Troy's and looking pretty damn sweet! Also Mick cut my floor panels while I cut ALL 10 stainless hard brake lines to go from the master cylinder to the staging brake and rear brakes then forward from the staging brake to the front brakes. I have had braided lines made for the flex with stainless fittings bling!

I Also have the whole clutch Hard line and hose done and Dad mounted the slave cylinder for me but don't have pics of that will put them up later.

Cheers Dave!

Hey guy's, I know I still have to push hard to get to Sydney and trust me I will however I am getting married in less than 4 weeks so the wedding is taking a front seat until then oh then there is the 8 nights on a 32ft self charted yacht in the Whitsundays for the honeymoon!

I will work on the car between now and then. I also have the turbo mounted, the whole exhaust done and the intercooler attached between the turbo and throttle body. Just working on the Injectors right now, will put some pics up soon!

Congrats on the impending wedding mate. Hope it goes to plan. The eight nights on the Whitsundays sounds great.

I can see why the buggy would take a back seat.

Worked on fitting everything properly to the engine over the weekend, Dad made a bracket to support under the turbo while I worked on modifying the old tailpipe to fit the new placement of the turbo, then made a bracket to support it.

Here's the pics.

Today I worked on the dash that Mick started for me and had heaps of fun with this. I cut out the hole for the switches, drilled the holes then Dad got a bit old skool on it and braised some tiny 4mm nuts on the back for me to bolt to. Then I trimmed and sanded it to fit, made some tabs off the cage to bolt to and mounted all the gauges on top in cups. I think It turned out pretty awesome actually!

Had another good day today, finished off the dash panel. Dad was busy today so I did the silver soldering today and attached the nuts for the gauges to bolt to then cleaned it up and sprayed it in some primer. Also got the battery in and clamped down. Here's some pic's.

Cheers Dave!

I also bought the two huge fuel pumps a while back. So have a big week planned over the break, we are going to lock ourselves in the shed with an esky and get all this crap on the car!

Merry Christmas Everyone and I'll update in the new year!!

Hi again, Here's a heap of pics of all the work we have been doing this week.

we'll start with the Inter cooler system. We have mounted the tank so the top of the barrel cooler is about 50mm higher than the bottom of the tank. The water pump is fitted below it.

Here is the Alternator. It fit perfectly into this little hole, with room to adjust the belt.

Here Is today's efforts. We managed to get the Fuel cell in place. We decided to put it in the back because the firewall at the front was a real headache and putting it there eliminated alot of work.

And finally, Dad went out and picked up this throttle cable today. It's 316 stainless and we made the brackets to hold it in place. I now have a working throttle. Awesome!

Oh and I bought this for my wife yesterday!

It's a Subaru Liberty GT B Spec, with a few upgrades to the tune of about 170kw at the wheels.
