Thanks Jeff.
I'm really hoping that at this stage no more problems present themselves. There's just no time to deal with them if there is.
I'm still not sure if it's going to paint this weekend or not. We'll see how things are traveling.
As for the colour Paul, I'm allowed to have some secrets aren't I? 
I've changed my mind and changed it back plenty of times since the picture I posted earlier in the build.
So I'll surprise you all.
I can say that wheels and barwork are going to be a light charcoal/gunmetal colour.

Scott has started to get most of the fill work finished on the body. Still a little touch up work to go yet.
He also repaired the crack in the rear scoop and the big hole in the side.
Work has now started on the doors, and the guards still have to be looked at yet!
Possibly not going to make it for Friday, I have discussed the options with the painter Steff (Dubcrazy on here) and will hopefully get it down to him
ASAP.
I wirewheeled the underside of the roof, the dash, the door jambs and pillars and the outside sills back to bare metal.
Gave it a clean off with wax and grease remover and sprayed some gray primer on all the bare stuff except the roof.
The door pillars still need a little filling and smoothing where I welded them in.
The inside of the roof will be getting brushed with POR15 tomorrow.

Don't have a great deal to show for what I did this afternoon.
I spent about 4 hours sanding the rear mud guards, and they're still not finished!
You can see in the picture that the leading edge of the guard was badly stonechipped.
After a few hours.
There's still a little bit left to do on one of the guards which has to be done by hand.
Next thing I did was wirewheel the inside of the door back and hit it with some primer.
And I also threw a brush around inside the roof. Moe of that POR15 goodness. The surface came out like glass!!!
Scotty's been tackling all the exterior of the doors and fibreglass repairs to the scoop and nose cone. As well as filling the holes in the guards
and work has started on the bonnet, which is scratched quite deeply.
I only just got home half an hour ago.
So I'm off to bed.
More tomorrow!!

Unfortunately I didn't get to do anything on the car today at all.
I had to go in this morning for a minor procedure on my eye to remove some rust and steel. After about half an hour I couldn't even see from the pain
so I got dad to take me home.
Scott was finishing off patching the last of the fibreglass holes in the guards and scoop and was sanding the door jambs when I left.
I have tomorrow off work so hopefully my eye is feeling good enough to spend the day on the car.

Happened to me the first and last time last yr... and i was even wearing safetly glasses!
Mind you being surrounded and played with by 2 yound female med student inturns made the insuline needle scrape to the eye painless. It was quite fun
lol. And was a first time for them... (the eye pricking , nuffin else
lol)
hmm.... come to think ofi t.... 95% of all the scars on me are from that car... first set of stitches was from it too.

I forgot to take my camera up today. Not that there is much to take photos of.
Scott has put two coats of highfill primer on the body of the car, wet sanding in between.
I spent most of the day sanding the doors and guards and scoop.
At this stage car is going down to Gladstone first thing Sunday morning. Leaving at 5.
Will try to get some pictures tomorrow and put them up before I leave tomorrow night.

Here are a few more pictures from Scott's place before I left.
I really can't thank Scott enough for the amount of work and effort and lack of sleep that he has put up with over the last week and a half. We
didn't have anywhere near enough time but he made every second count. For this I am deeply grateful.
And here is the finished product.
Steff and I put in a truly colossal Sunday. We got the car painted, lift kit installed, barwork made, new wheels and tyres on, turbo Subaru engine and
IRS conversion completed, all the glass in, interior install, everything wired up. It's pretty much a complete car.
