That should still count as a new SS/C national record.
Both ET and MPH.
10.289ET was backed up by the 10.381 from yesterday (within 1%),
as is the 130.34mph backed up by the 129.7mph from yesterday.

1.379 sixty is pretty awesome too!

Just a quick update from the weekend. We ran three qualifiers on Friday with the following results:
Q1: 10.381@129.19
Q2: 10.395@129.31
Q3: 10.424@129.70
First elimination was Saturday morning at 8:45. Dialed in with a 10.37 but red lit and broke out with:
60' 1.379
330' 4.175
1/8 6.528 @ 103.81
1000' 8.563
1/4 10.289 @ 130.34

Numbers were good enough to reset the SS/C national records for both elapsed time and speed with a backup of 1% with the slower results.
Car is performing well and getting close on the tune up. A big thanks to Dave Butler for crewing on Friday and the rest of my crew for their help on the weekend.
We have some in car footage and will post it shortly. Looking forward to racing VW Sydney at the end of the month.

Hi Michael,
I hae noticed on a few of the vids you are running little scoops on the tops of your front guards? Do these act as little wings to keep the front down? I cant think why else they would be there.

Tyre clearance, must have had issues with the guards rubbing on compressed suspension which could be fun in the deep end....not.
