Thats a vintage c l u b run. I am a member of a vintage car club, we have a run every sunday to one of many local locations. I will be registering
pidge on club plates next month, with them. That means that I can drive her every sunday, with Motomania, and I can take her out on Klub VW events as
well, and some related cultural festivals. So I should get to drive her quite a bit, and I only have to pay about $60 a year to register her on
historic registration, with the RTA (NSW).

Hey Robo was replying this morning and the fire alarm went off and then didn't get time to finish.
Big week end this weekend doing the rear door cards and putting the back seat in. Rear bumper on and all the blinkers and lights in.
Then going to get back to the wiring now that i've got a good wiring diagram.
Then Sunday out to drive a V8 supercar at 200kph whoo hoo
If I get time I could also come down and help lower pidge.......

Starting to get warm here? Dream on...they think this is going to be the wettest summer on record...ie...ever!
It gets brighter a lot earlier and darker alot later yes, but, we've only had a few days of sunshine here and there. It can go from being cold and
pissing down with rain in the morning to bright and sunny in the afternoon.
Apart from that, I hope it's good weather tomorrow because I'm going to a theme park called Alton Towers (courtesy of the school )
Yeh, so that's about it.
How's Mothers Day going over there? Got a call from Simon haha??

Well i went to the theme park today...it was just insane. there is a ride there called oblivion..it consists of a hill-climb at the start...and then a
flat section at the top, all very slowly...then it hangs you out over a 87.9degree drop for 3 seconds looking down into a tunnel through the rock,
then it literally drops you. pulls over 4 gs and 80mph..mm so yeh it was literally insane.
and although it was cloudy it didn't rain and ended up being quite a nice day.

Still not in the good books for having my drive Mothers Day but Sue didn't miss out.
Drive was good, maybe a bit over rated. Fastest I could squeeze was 180 which was pretty neat, but 5 laps isn't enough and I wouldn't pay the money
for 10.
I think the rally one would be the way to go.

mm, yeh I'm the one working hard...i don't know about them. recently the groundman has been really sick so i've been doing all his outdoor work and
still getting paid like sh*t! i've been off my usual timetable and have been doing annoying jobs like marking white lines on pitches and cricket
strips and all these other crappy things...oh well.
i think i'll get back to my usual timetable soon.

Heh all,sorry i haven't been posting but absolutely sweet f a has been happening .I'm excited now though as my splitty is heading to the mechanics
on Saturday to get all the mechanical work & brakes etc... done.I have no idea what condition the engine is in so fingers crossed its fixable
& i don't need to get it rec'od.It will also be good to check out the underneath while its up on the hoist as i haven't really been able to
check out underneath it yet.Lets hope theres not much rust under there!!!!!:o
By the way if theres any survivor watches here.....how good was it????I hope Rupert wins the peoples choice for the other million!! |

I can't believe that on Survivor Rob & Amber still made it right to the end & no one kicked them off.The special show for the other million
is on this Saturday night.I'll have to tape it coz i'll be at the footy.
I'm sooooo excited about the splitty heading to the mechanics(apart from the bill of course!!!!!)It will be so cool to drive her.Unfortunately i
pretty much live right next to a massive police station which makes it a little hard to take her for a quick cruise around the block unregistered!!
