as for wheels i reckon you want something 16"
not TOO big

The car is fairly modern so not too old school

I am biased but i reckon some Boxsters
6's and 7's will fit nicley

yep - same as mine but 66deluxe has them on his as well

Definately go the 17" Escra's !!!
Also loose the black wiper arms, it looks out of place. get them chromed or something....
You must be so glad to see it almost finished.

Esca's - Yes it will still be Escra's
1916 badge - Michael at VVDS got this done for me.. Thanks Mike
Wipers.. Easy to say, harder to do.. 6v windscreen and 12v assembly.. had to modify the arms.. Maybe chrome down the track.. maybe not.. the black look fine

looks awesome! :tu:

i reckon if u could get your hands on some 16'' Randar wheels they would look sweet... (nearly exactly the same as the Escras except 16 inch) a guy called Randy in the states makes them. if not Escras would be my choice

Rob,

Great choice. If I kept the wide five stud pattern, that's the wheel I wanted. But I would black out the sections where the wheel nuts are between each spoke, just my preference.

Well after two threads and 2.5 years doing a 90day re-build, the car is now finished and back in my warehouse.
I'm sure it will show up in other threads from time to time but (for now) that is the end of this project..
Next is a 71 dual door panel that has been waiting for a while..
Thanks to everyone for positive comments and keeping me motivated.. Rob
