Pobjoy helped alot - Plus i realised im not a rock star, band hadn't gig'd in a while so i sold up.
Pedals - GONE!
Telecaster Deluxe - GONE!
Fatlady - she stays with me
I actually did very well with the sales because the dollar is so bad.
Kevin Rudd helped too
Sold the kafer, kennedy clutch, a few bits n pieces - it ALLLLLL adds up.

Yeah not wasting your time man. its hard to know how many people are watching the progress by the number of comments you get. But there are probably a
lot of people out there watching but just dont comment...
cheers
also just noticed your signature... yes, that is a great verse, one of my favourites!

Cheers Izac - yes its a great verse.
I sold up all my recording equipment (about 8k worth) to fund the re-build.
I still have my Cole Clark - yes the Deluxe was awesome! We had a good stint playing gigs, but life is too busy now. It's all good, ill buy another
one later down the track - 'she will be mine'

So i guess you put the motor in then fit every thing esle to motor eg timing belt , manifolds etc??
It looks like it will be a very tight fit and it could be hard to get the motor in and line up with the clutch and flywheel on.???
I think need some more cutting

Yeah, It was in my Baptism testimony on sunday night, but i pulled it out a few hours before... Its truth - but I just wanted to be the only one of
the 7 people to not have bible verses.... I Won.
Lets see this fat lady.... they have the most intense sound of any acoustic iv played to be honest. matons are cool martins are over priced.... cole
clark... SWEEEEET. Iv got a cort acoustic currently..... ew. Also a Joe satriani signature (with his signature... ) and a ibanez jazz guitar... nice.
Mick were you touring in a band? If so, name please!!!
I apprieciate the photos... not cause I'd do a water conversion, but cause your car is swell!

Hey mate, yeh the band is called 'Paradyme' - we played a bit up and down the NSW coast, Blackstump and most of the 'gigging' pubs in Sydney.
We had a nice little run, won some comps and stuff - just doing our last 'ep' now so we have a record of our songs, well most of them - probably had
about 30 originals all up over the years.

o so very nice!!!.......like it a lot.
Mick, any thoughts on running a front splitter and feeding the scoop through it? painted same as car would be nice and help keep the thing on the
ground too.........although they're a tight fit to go under the early bumpers.....

DAimo,
You mean like the green Hellbug car in your signature?
Im not the biggest fan of the look to be honest. Some of the later models look good with it, but not on my 58.

Yeah.. I hope to be there. I just got a job again after 4 months (argh!) so now I will be able to afford to get the bug running how i want it.
Kadrons/some body work...sadly/ the clutch - exhaust : all by the end of september and then i willl be there. otherwise... I'll have the rent's
crappodore and be sad that I'm not crusing a dub. :P
Do you think you will have the 58 back on the road by then???? Would be awesome to see.

Looks like all is progressing well there Mick.
Westi is a real artist with the metal.
After seeing how Ian's stock LBug trans is lasting, even with a bit of 1/8 mle action,
you should be fine if you aim for smooth driving.
Also, it will give you a chance to determine if you like the ratios as they are.

Yeh, hopefully i'll get a bit of life out of the trans so i can save. Will need to resist quick gear changes and dropping the clutch.

Ahead of you there Craigy boy - once the gearbox blows its going to Dave - may mean i pull the engine out sooner rather then later - time will
tell.
I think thats where Jakriz's gearbox went - due to the torque.
