Hi Lou

The eBoost is hooked up to the turbo itself, see picture.

The blow off valve is hooked up to the standard location under the the throttle body and the boost gauge will either T off the blow off valve or I might use the vacuum source that the carbon cannister uses.

Hi

I've been a bit slack with my bug, no excuses but I had an issue with our local registration people, I handed in the number plates and lost interest in the whole thing.

I've now been granted permission to register the bug, so another engineers report and two RMS inspections of the car, then a blue slip yesterday and rego today, now to finish the car, carpets, stereo, air con etc.

Hi

Blue slip was no problem as the RMS has been over this car a few times and they gave me their OK for rego.

I just went and had the car wheel aligned.

The G50 transmission is out of low kilometre Japanese import, it has a noise in it, so the gearbox will be removed soon to repair, not happy as its so much fun to drive. I bought the transmission so long ago that there's not any hope of warranty.

Rudi had a drive yesterday and he's going to help pull the transmission down to see what we can do, this wont be cheap as anything with Porsche written on it is going to cost $$$

Hi

Thanks for the kind words. I think Rudi would find my car little tame after what he normally drives.

I still need to do some work on the rear end, I ended up with a bit of toe out and I need to lower the car a bit, its no lightweight car but I still want to do a few supersprints in it.

I installed some extra gauges and this left no room for switch gear, I moved it down to where the fan switch and vent control normally sit, I'm making billet panel to replace the hacked up plastic one shown here.

Steve

Hi

The speedo is in the tacho, I had to have an engineer verify that speedo was accurate, it runs off the speed sensor for the Subaru ECU.
