Having dramas with fitting dropped spindles , they use diffrent bearings, tie rod ends, balljoints rub on the inner lip of the wheel . hmmmm will
persevere had a look at a mates beetle that has the same wheels and dropped spindles so it can be done

Ok have rebuilt the beam today its missing 1 half leaf, still is stupid low so i will have to put that half leaf in and see if it will raise it
slightly .
1.Balljoint through a hole in the rim note the minimal clearance.
2. inner view.
3.Overall happy with how low (still want it lower!!:P) next to lower the rear.

You need more room than that because the angle on the arms will change when they go up or down and you'll lose some of your rim on the edge

Finally got it going today, took alot of effort and alot of bad language but i got there in the end . Its got a heap more power than before as well
:bounce . Any one have a decent extraction system and muffler let me know as it needs one BAD. (Several leaks)
