I have a surf mate up here n she is an instructor for the surf school on noosa's main beach..
they are very good for novices and supply everything you need
my best recommendation

Hi There,
Please go to the Surfing Queensland website and use one of their accredited surf schools, they are fully insured and get priority on all Qld beaches.
If you are on the gold coast try Currumbin Alley (beach) it is a very good location to learn at.
http://www.surfingqueensland.com.au hit the surf schools tab and then scroll
down to the beach location.

had a go at it years ago but wanna get back into it,and embarass the kids haha, thanks frosty will check that out, the goldie is probably the closest
spot to me.
