Ignition Switch
Hi Guys,
I've got a real early german 68 beetle im fixing up at present, the ignition barrel comes out when i pull the key out, i cant see how it all comes
apart, any tips to replacing the barrel and key? Any advice would be appreciated. Also where can i get a new one?
Cheers
Paul

Hey Paul..not sure how to get them out..but can recommend giving Ziggy or Steve a call at GHR Motors..45 Daws Road Mitchell Park SA 5043
(08) 8276 8440
They are always helpful and being such purists always endevour to find german replacement parts. They may be able to source you a new switch/barrel
assembly..also can give you heads up how to pull one out.Does Peter Debiasi have spares from wrecks?..Sorry cant help you out.Once ive got some spare
cash I'll PM you for the details to get the wifes front beam done too..cheers Jason.
