Online VW stores
Hi
What online VW stores can people recommend?
I have been using Justkampers but it seems that 3 of the 4 items i need are available on backorder only.
Are there any others?
I have dealt with Micks Motors in Brisbane before but their site is pretty average and have had issues with missing items in orders before.
Thanks

I use cip1.com in the USA depending on what you need, the postage can be a killer so tend to place a couple of big order every 3 months.

It depends on what you need. I am happy to recommend the best suppliers, but it depends on your list of products.

I've used online suppliers both in Australia and the US and have have good service from all. In Australia Mick's were good, although their site is
horrible, but they are just a phone call away and have way more than their site indicates. Otherwise Vollks.com.au, again, a call can net financial
benefits.
In the US CIP1 has been very useful, and again a call can be beneficial. Their freight is a little exxy, but I have always arranged to get stuff
shipped to hotels when I have been over there, so freight not too bad.

I just placed two rather large orders one with
CB Performance
and
Aircooled.net
Both have a huge mount of items.
Just be careful with CB performance the first postage calculation is like $400 but as you progress through the purchase there is cheaper postage
options. For a $800 order I paid $200 for postage

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but this I couldnt believe.
I will always use local suppliers, on this occasion I decided on cip1 for a part no-one in Australia had (Micarta bushings)... and my God talk about a
quick turnaround!
Placed an order with cip1 on Friday afternoon and had the part arrive today (Monday).
Is that even posisble?

Course it's possible, and basically required for a business to stay in business in the US !!!
Check the tracking, and wouldn't be surprised if it spent longer sitting waiting with Aust Customs and then Aust Post than anything else...

Airkewld.com is another, got my beam & shocks etc off them. Very quick (3 days from the states) and reasonably priced.

| Tell me about it!!! The Micarta bushings were $45 and the shipping was $42!!! Thats close to $90 for a couple little bits of
plastic. I was pretty desperate to get them quick so was happy to pay a little (or should i say alot) extra on this occasion. Still impressed with the
time it took tho.
