That looks vaguely familiar

This is the new Chinese 'Yema Auto' T-Series SUV, shown recently at the Chengdu Auto show.

Does it remind you of anything...?

Duct tape holding the door handles on....
Yep definitely Chinese alright.

All these idiots buying these cheapskate cars not realising parts wont be available in a few years time.

I noticed following a car carrier a few weeks ago there was a Mahindra SUV on the top.
They are a bloody Indian tractor company FFS

My neighbour bought a Mahindra tractor 3 years ago and put a rock through the oil filter and locked the engine up.
Now he has a nice yard ornament as cant get a new engine.

wrecking yards will be full of great walls, Cherrys, etc in a few years time when the parts dont exist to keep them on the road.

Mahindra is one of the largest industrial companies in the world..

One of the companies working on coal mines in the Hunter valley didn't have enough money to buy a new |Hi Lux so they bought two Mahindra PIKUP trucks [tabletops]

I see they are still going up & down the highway... lol

I heard they aren't having any problems with them apart from things falling off...

so race tape is a necessary accessory.. lol

I have heard CHERRY cars are crap...
and no spares in Australia..
U haven't heard anything about great wall utes..
seen a few about and they do look OK...
They are sold ONLY on price.... nothing else...

Lots of chinese cars and trucks etc on their way.... lol

Many look identical to other brands... shame the quality just isn't there... looking good doesn't really matter if they are rubbish...

but I remember years ago when Falcon and land cruiser door handles used to break off.... lol
it was very common.... You could buy new ones at most spare parts shops...

In case you all missed the connection, this is what they copied. A pre-facelift VW Tiguan.

Loooong time ago my dad bought a car on price because he couldn't afford the car he wanted, the car he bought was a reasonably new make on the market and was sold on price alone as they hadn't been round long enough to get a reputation one way or the other, what did he buy? a Toyota Corona, all his mates rubbished the shit out of him, the car he wanted? an Austin 1800. Hmmmm
