WTB hood for early 60s 1950s


i have purchased a 54 beetle that the more i look the more dissapointed i get .currently i am after a bonnet. to start. the bonnet on it does not sit neat. it looks like it was used in a ram raid. repaired , bogged , then painted, i seem to get more air from the dash than the windows..
Also after a later 60s pan
if you can help it would be appreciated. im located on the central coast nsw . 2259. i have a freind in nowra or i can travel to newcastle , and sydney.

OK the bonnet is solid it has been stripped and undercoated lightly some years ago,it will need stripping and a treatment for surface rust. It has had a previous repair in front of the reinforcement for the bonnet hinge. I would suggest you have a look at the bonnet prior to purchase.It looks like it is a 60's bonnet as the VW badge has round pins and no evidence of a Wolfsburg crest badge. Pm for more details.
