Generator light


Hey guys,

was just wandering why would the generator light be on , even though i have a high idle.

I know it determins if its charging my 6vlt battery however could it be a loose belt? or any other suggestions...

the battery looks new, however in really high revs the light goes away.

Are there easy ways to determine the cause ?

Check it with a voltmeter.



I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!:lol:
