Apparentley there has been a bit of a dash to Matt Berry's workshop at Cooroy by "h" and Kombi Bob to get evrthing up of the floor as the creek
down the bottom of Matt's yard is comming up and he's not keen on a repeat of last Feb .

I've got a big ass tree fallen fully in my dam.. damn indeed..
oh well coulda been worse..
i took the tractor over to mattys n pulled various bit n bobs to higher ground..
me n matt helped some jumper ants to safety
more like playing with hot needles that you don't know are there till they bang! get ya
I only managed to help one ant but the owner of the lot copped the mostest 
all good now we thinks, as the rain has eased and the creek started to recede a little..
time to go and enjoy some liquid refreshments at prolly mr bobs this eve

12+ hours in the dark running around clearing blockages. We got flooded in at on stage, but nothing in the house or shed. Winds are wrecking havoc tho
we are still getting smashed! Good to hear you guys up north are ok.

Our roof is leaking.was up on the roof late yesterday try seal it up no joy.had to crawl through the man hole and crawl up and find the leak.moped
water up and got a bucket under it.leak is rite over my notch. gota go up now and empty the bucket again

They have been running the barge's the last couple of days and flights out of Gladstone are all go... the roads are still closed in some places on
the way down tho...

Gladstone faire well really, river went over at the Boyne and some houses flooded.. they got cut off for a few days but all good now, have mates in
bundy that are getting a pounding but not in danger of losing there house but he said just 100 m down the road they are close to totally underwater.
Waters expected to peak there tonight/early morning..
Here in gladstone we had 1042mm (roughly 40+inches) in three and a half days! never seen rain like it..

we only lost power for 20 mins here n there, up the road from you...
talk about a crisis when the water pump didnt work n especially when the air con shut down n knowing the beer was getting hot
hope you are sorting out your freezer n restocking at least.. insurance should cover it..

Yep, my mum is up ner you Barry, she was here last night....we had a B-I-G cook-up for dinner ..... steak, chops and snags.
