WTB Vic - 54 Oval
Hi All,
Just thought I might put it out there.
Looking at getting a 54 Beetle. Would like one thats registerable and drivable. I can't afford anything thats to nice but I am open to suggestions. I
have know Idea about the body work side of things but aren't too fussed about mechanical issues (I also have Aussieveedubbers for anything
tricky).
If you have anything that you might want to part with let me know.
Not too sure what i should be paying but any feedback on that would also be welcome.
Cheers,
Joel

Thanks Ian for the links. I had one all lined up that ticked all the boxes but let it get away. These cars require to much work for me. So I am
looking again. If anyone knows of anything else I would be very appreciative. Cheers joel

Hi Dave,
The one I missed was a very solid car that was running but needed a good tidy up. There appeared to be no rust in the floors, channels, doors, pillars
or around any of the windows (i know I should have grabbed it!). It had been hit in the front (had new bonnet and front clip) but was all there. I was
told it was running but the 6v battery had died. He wanted $6k for it. I think that was a good price as it did need some work that I would have had to
pay for as well as transporting it on top of the $6k.
Thats not too far from what I can spend at the moment. I could go a little bit higher but not by a lot.
If you had something I would love to at least have a look.
Cheers,
Joel
