Retro radio

Here's a good idea:-

I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

looks great in bugs. looks like dogs balls in my car, no place for a radio in a type 3 unfortunately, as in there is no enclosed mounting place for one unless you have one of the earlier models which has a recess under the dash for one.

I had a period correct radio in my SB years ago but it looks awkward.

does any one know of an enclosure to blend one into a type 3 dash?

nah, that would look crap.

would have to be textured abs plastic I recon to look factory. like the og dash texture.

the plastic would need to be mounded to shape.
