Love the new wheels. What are the sizes and offsets and who made them up for you?

Thanks for that. Would you be able to fit 7" under the fron with the standard bean do you think?

you could but you will loose some lock, i am about to help a friend do that, what size tyre are you looking at, they are a 195/45/17 on the front, you can over tyre them, you could fit a 205/45/17 but it would be a tight fit under the front guard. the wheel manufacturer might run into problems with the front half of the rim, they could have done a et of 60 on the six inch rim but then there were problems machining the center as it would have had to have a thicker billet, with the 7" rim you could split the difference.

I have some Porsche 17" x 7" twists with et55 that came off a ghia in the UK but it had a narrowed beam. I was looking at the 205/45/17 tyres as well but could look at 195s instead if it helps fit with a standard beam. I am not real sure about driving a narrowed beam car as I have never driven in one before so have nothing to judge the handling side of things.

Its a step backwards if you are trying to get the car to handle, really 1" is a fair bit extra width, particuly on a ghia, the 7" i have are also a ET 55MM and have temporarily fitted them to the standard beam on another ghia, this has 944 brakes on a link pin front end so it will be different to yours, they do not hit the trailing arms but will hit the trailing edge of the guard when turning, it would also depend on your front end and brakes, i have after market brakes on a link pin front end so i have made allowance when i worked out the ET for mine and the compromise i made was to fit 6" rims.

Have you tried the 7" twists on the car as it stands.

No as it is still sitting there with the 4 lug wheels on it and I have no tyres yet for the twists.
