Chrome Strips
I am looking for the two chrome strips which are on the sides of the speedo onthe speaker grill.Have inquired from VW performance centre also but no
response. Can any one supply these for me (Beetle 1300-1969). |

Best to find someone wrecking one as it will be a bit of a needle in a hay stack, 68 and 69 are the only years that used that style, pre 67 are
different.
And if you want to be 100% correct 68 the strips were chrome and 69 were only silver.
you sure its a 1300? all 69s here were 1500, only Europe got the 1300 in 69.

The strips are silver not chrome.Mine is a 1969 Beetle 1300 imported from Singapore. Thanks for the help.Items available at VW Performance Centre. |

I have a pr of alloy ( silver ) ones off my 68. They are in excellent condition and have the 4 clips to hold them on. What are they worth to you
