I've got my beetle with them, agreed value which none of the others would do and it is reasonably cheap if your car isn't a daily driver and your over 25.

Call stockers boring if you want, but VW sure sold a lot of them that way

No. We all hate them. They won't insure your calssic car, nor your daily drive, nor your house. Please don't tell anyone else, as this is secret information which you could not possibly have discovered using this forum's search function, which tells lies.

I always say to people to do their own research on insurance. Unless they are the same age, same car, same modifications, same location, same driving history and have the same reasons for deciding which company, then my input doesn't help.

How many people have a 1964 stretch limousine that is used for commercial purposes? I may be able to give some idea about which insurance company I would recommend

Many vw owners on here have their car insured by shannons
who also insure unregistered classic cars etc,,

I believe they now also insure normal late model cars now.

I have My 68 Beetle insured with the NRMA classic vintage insurance company.. Have been since about 2006..
They are similar to what shannons was originally..
Old classic vintage and veteran cars..

They are seperate from the normal NRMA insurance..
If I ask the NRMA about My insurance they say its not insured... lol .. totally seperate...

but I know heaps of VW owners who have ALL their cars insured with shannons...

All our cars are with Shannons and have been for some time now. We got a great deal on insuring my Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo also since we are "passionate customers".

Hi

I have a renewal for my bug and my sons bug at the moment, I've been with Shannons for years, I got a quote from NRMA Classic and Vintage, 1/2 the price and they weren't scared by the mods at all.

Didn't like my sons driving record though.
