Hey just purchased this for my mum as she owned one in her teens and wanted one again , is it a bug or superbug all the info on here tells me its just

Yeah - standard bug, aka beam bug.
Going by the fuel filler door most likely Aussie made 1500 Beetle.

Some 70s were also 1300 but that one is either 69 or 70.
A 69 will have levers under either side of the dash for the front heater outlets, 70 will have them on the actual heater outlet
