FS Wrecking 74 Bay Kombi Camper lots available Brisbane

Just picked up a 74 bay kombi camper and apart from a few bits I want for myself, everything else is available. No engine or gearbox but was a 1600. Camper interior fit out is long gone, doors good, body not so good but I've seen worse restored. If you are keen I'm open to offers for the body but you would need to be KEEN! Great wheels and tyres (light truck 8 ply tyres near new) on rims that look freshly painted or new, canvas is not real flash but pop top roof is sound by the looks of it and the mechanism works fine up and down. Most of the roof is rusted beyond repair and things like the dog legs and usual places are full of bog and rust. Some body bits and floor might be salvageable and happy to do cuts if you need something. Chassis and floor looks sound and paint under body is great but sadly not enough good in my opinion to be a resto. Camper is a non factory one judging by the roof cuts, hence the rust. Pop out windows ok, all glass good.

Sliding door, tailgate, engine lid, front door locks gone.

Front doors appear to be rust free and very solid.

Still plenty of parts here. If anyone wants body cuts let me know now as this is almost stripped and the body will be going to scrap once stripped. I don't have the room to store front ends or big parts. Nor do i have the time to spend cutting it up. Open to offers for the whole shell, willing to let it go for scrap price. Chassis is excellent, could make a basis for a trailer. The steering box is really nice with almost no play so that is available.

Tyres and wheels are like new, light truck 8 ply on redone (not sure if its paint or powdercoat) rims, matching set of 5 including spare, all have not seen much if any use, still have the writing on the tread surface and the nobby bits there, tyres are Nexen, would be good for a twin cab carrying a bit of weight or a camper. I'd like to think $400 is fair for 5 fresh rims and new tyres.

Is there any interest in the Sopru pop top? Even for something like $10? It's complete, has a working mechanism, has a few cracks and could use a new canvas. But had it up yesterday while raining and didnt leak much. Who wouldn't want to fit one to your pristine kombi? Guaranteed to rust your roof in no time. If no interest I'll pull the mech out which is perfect and eBay it.

Windscreen is usable, has a couple of stone chips that have not been repaired but could be easily. No cracks in it, I've seen a lot worse pass inspection. It is not an original though, has some auto glass company logo on the glass. I was going to bundle it together with all the other glass and put it on eBay but if its any good to you feel free to come take a look. $5 if you want it. If you buy any other bits I'd probably chuck it in for nothing. I guess it's whether it's worth having chips fixed compared to a new screen.

Yes they are, for now........but they took a road trip to their new home last week (destined to be the running gear for some sort of hybrid manx buggy) so are sold I'm sorry.

PM sent Klaus.

I'll be listing a lot of this on ebay this weekend in an effort to free up some space. If you want a shot at anything before the price goes through the roof (as it does once it hits the last 5 minutes on ebay) then feel free to call or text over the weekend on 0418871950.
