I second Barls... once a car has been that molested from original, the price is as custom as the car.

Is it just be or does this have just one shaved door handle? Being left hand drive in a right hand drive market, I hope the seller isn't expecting big dollars. It's definitely a matter of what ever someone wants to buy it for it unfortunately. It's "unique"

I go to all the shows in QLD and have never seen this thing. If this seller is the same one i'm thinking about that imports VW's from the states, he's a total wanker and lies. If not, I apologise in advance!

If it is as good as the photos - I would say more than the $5,600 it is on ebay

All depends on the quality of custom work, rust and mechanicals

In my opinion, I would say that with a current Road worthy certificate and registration, it could sell for $10,000-$12,000. It may cost double that to build one, but that is how markets work. Rarity and desirability play a big part.

Interesting treatment on the front and rear bumpers, not sure about the front indicators, impossible to see in the day from any angle except front on, love the upholstery though.

if your friend bids on the car, he will have to deceide what it is worth to him, the market will set the price, being a left hand drive car it is worth less than a right hand drive equivelent, you realy need to inspect it before bidding as you never know what surprises it might have. on another note it is not approriate to call anybody a wanker and a liar on this forum.

1. Extremely unprofessional behaviour for a Super Moderator to be making comments like this.
2. It's not a 'Thing' its a Beetle
3. Please dont call it 'molesting' if you have never modified a vehicle away from its factory original state. I'm sure that Miss VDUB has molested many a vehicle.

It seems like the benchmark has been set and anything goes now on this site!! I'm sure this post will be censored!
