Trouble removing Flex Plate
Hi all. Im trying to remove a flex plate off a 2.1 wasser and replace it with a fly wheel. The 5 hex head boilts just wont budge. Tried with a impact
wrench but with no results. and with a long wrench with a hex head socket but almost stripped them. Any ideads.

Drill the heads off? once the load is off then the remainder of the bolt should be able to be removed easily.

Get a better quality socket. You will find heavy duty sockets only have 6 flats to contact the bolt head.

Daves on the money with a single hex socket, if you want to round bolts & nuts go the double hex, I allways use single hex to crack a bolt/nut
then use the double hex to remove if its in a confined area
