lowered beams
hi, tell me if this is feasible. when a[narrowed] new beam is made fitted with adjusters, why are they made to sit in the standard position height
wise, why not make them to be 2inches lower, which i assume could be done by putting the locators for the torsion leaves on a diff angle to standard.
and set the adjusters to bring it back to standard height if u wanted it standard..... a new beam with settings the same as if u cut and turned a
standard beam to lower it. hope this make sense.

Yeah heaps sense makes 
Any decent beam "off the shelf" would have the adjusters go up to standard height MAX yeah?
Yep you can put the adjusters in at what ever angle you desire.... Use em to get the beam higher if that's your plan
Or have it so the top of the adjustment is 2inches lower than standard and it's all down down down from there
Has anyone tried the airkewld adjusters that claim 7 inches of adjustment yet?.... Might try them out myself soon with a new beam build

, thanks hellbug, i was thinking even if u didnt put in the adjusters, the beam would be made to be 2 inches lower without drop spindals, because the
torsion leaves would be inserted at an angle different from stock. so a 2 inch lowered beam with out drop spindals, without adjusters, without cutting
and turning................ the airkweld adjusters look the part, i dont know of anyone that has them. regards greg

Yeah new beam without adjusters built a couple inches lower would be handy too

if built that way u wouldnt need to buy drop spindals, just stay with stock. hopefully some of the beam builders will say if it would work or stuff up
