[WTB - SA] 1966 Beetle

1966 v 1969 Beetle

I have a 69 Beetle but I really want a 1966 (year of my birth).

Is a straight swap reasonable or is one more valuable/rare than the other.

Mine is a white 1969 1500 Beetle with red interior, excellent condition, completely rust free (floorpan and body), recently serviced by VW Mechanic (Volkscare), good cylinder compression, good paint, rear seat restored and re-trimmed, I'm in the process of doing the same to the front seats (low backs). Drives beautifully - recently drove it to Minlaton (2 1/2hr drive from Adelaide - sat on 110+km/h all the way).

Anyone interested in a straight swap?

Any opinions would be appreciated.
