FOR SALE; BRISBANE; a bunch of Beetle stuff....


Hello All,

Got a bunch of stuff. Throw me some offers if you are interested in anything. All located in Chermside. Can post combined items over $25 total value.. (ie I'm not going to post a $2 part please :) I'd give it away first )

101: 13x7 Deep dish smoothie wheel. Needs a cleanup, structurally good. $10
102: 14x7 Deep dish smoothie wheel x 2 (Second is identical in condition). Surface rust, structurally good. $25 pair
103: 2 x Wheel trims 14". Light surface rust in spots, $5
104: 1 x Smoothie hubcap. dint free, but need a polish to remove the surface rust spots. $10
105: Complete 1500cc single port motor. Apparantely runs fine. 68 era I believe. "H1" engine number. Comes with extractors clutch and flywheel. Ie. what you see in the pics. Will split up if people just need parts. Needs a degrease. As is $175
106: 2 x shifters.. one is shortened $5 each
107: Distributer and Fuel pump. Look OK. As is, as I have not tested them. $5 each
108: Brake master res $2
109: 8 "slot" Hella fuse block around 63 vintage. Later model 10 "slot" as well. 2 x interior lights, one with a chip in corner $2 each
110: Ignition switch / barrel. No key (oops) $10?
111: Fuel gauge #1. untested $20
112: Fuel gauge #2. untested $20
113: Speedo 80Mph model - Clear needle. 1960 model. untested. Cleaner than it looks in the pictures, can take more if required $65
115: Wiper SFW with frame etc. Still 6V I'd presume. Untested $40
116: Wiper SFW motor only. Still 6V I'd presume. untested $20
117: Rear number plate light / holder. All complete. About 64 model? $20
118: Rear lights/lenses/surrounds from approx 63/64 model. Complete. $25
119: 180mm clutch and pressure plate. Lots of meat. $15
121: Plastic indicator switch / arm $2

hey spectral, off topic but do you live up behind kedron/wavell services club and next to a house being built and you have a grey beetle and an orange kombi ?

Hey will the hubcaps fit a stock 1970 beetle? If so im keen on 4 :) and I'm in nsw so how much for postage? if you're willing. Going to the Fairfeild VW nationals? :lol::no: thanks Josh

Hey Josh, no idea mate if they will fit. My experience is solely with the earlier stuff. And no, I'm not going to the Fairfield nationals.. :) Going to the Gold Coast swap meet on Sunday, so I'll meet you there :lol:

Postage would be around $25. I just priced 6 wheel trims for someone to NSW and it was $30... but the hubcaps are a smaller diameter than wheel trims so the box is smaller and therefore cheaper.

My beetle is in primer gray still, but nope, no kombi. I'm close the the RSL.
