Yes grumble, these are parts for sale that i wanted fellow AVDs to not miss out on. Obviously all will sell as they are being auctioned, not waiting
around here with my best-guess price tags. I emailed the forum Admins before posting to check all was ok to do this, and followed their instructions.
If you are in the market, click through and grab a bargain mate ;-)

I had a request to clean and photograph the dash. Some extra pics now appear in the listing, but all can be seen here

Please note the dash is still wet from just being cleaned.

Looks like a re skinned job though?? Starting to delaminate in some areas and a bit ragged on the ends.

Happy to have anyone who knows to inspect pics or dash. I am unfamiliar with "reskinning". Would other photos and/or of it dry help?

Sorry about my post a few days back but computer screwed something up and deleted my post whilst adding something. Only just back home and read the
PM.
Could you add some closeups of the speedo area where the binnacle meets the pad. It looks like it's shrinking and pulling away from the padding.
Also the RH end doesn't ring true in the pics you have given with excess skin hanging around plus some rough trimming near the screw hole.
Would be great if all is original uncracked for those with a 71 (72?) on Type 3

"1500S" and I have had a few emails and photos swapping today to try and clarify for you folks any history of this dash. I'll attach a few more
after the message. I don't know enough about it but I have pics of the speedo meeting the binnacle where they may lift like 1500S' skinned dash?
There is also a pic of the right edge per 1500S' concern from other photos.
Please bid according to your understanding of the photos, and of course the dash is available for inspection until auction end tonight. Note, dash is
still not "clean", was just washed down the other day.
Thankfully i never advertised it as "original" and still can't confirm or deny if it is. All I know is it is uncracked, especially the god awful
cut that I have on all my type 3s down the side of the speaker hole. Pics of this included.
Whether original or skinned, it's still cheaper than supplying an ok dash then paying $650+ to have fixed. Bid accordingly if you want to buy this so
you can have people "oooo and ahhhh" at what they don't have in their car! ;-)
