After market wheels
I have been looking for a suitable set of wheels for a type three ghia and have come up against a wall as far as the offset goes, the original wheels
are a 4.5" with a ET of 46, all the wheel available will not fit without hitting the guards, i found a web site in the UK for a manufacturer that
apear to offer and manufacture all the popular vw wheels, i got a quote for a set of gasburners delivered to your door for 461 pound, available with
different offsets so you can get away from narrowing the front end to fit them, there are several wheels offered to suit vw's that can be ordered
with different offsets, i am going to get a set of compomotive MO6, 16" x 6" or 16" x .5.5" with the correct offset for the car, on these wheels
they can be ordered up to a ET of 56MM and 53MM respectivly http://www.randr-alloys.co.uk/

Hi
Nice looking wheels, on the website it looks like the spokes will protrude from the tyre face, this would make them very exposed to gutter rash, but I
love that look.
