66 type hazard lights switch???

Can anyone tell me if the early type 3's built in 66 came out with hazards. Im trying to get the wiring sorted out under the dash and most of the wiring diagrams have the switch in them. I dont have a hole in the dash for a separate switch but the blinker wiring seems to need to plug into it. Also how would I go getting it registered without them.

66 models in OZ came out with hazards like non locking seat backs but 69 would have been the first of them with hazard lghts in OZ I think. Why not just use the wiring diagram for your year? If your wiring needs to be plugged into a hazard switch then someone has added it.

Print this one off and use it:

68 was the first year to have the Hazard switch, the earlier fasties cam out wit a cigarette lighter that many think is a hazard switch, may be overseas the hazard was introduced a little earlier when 12volt was introduced.

Beetles had the hazard switch as standard in 68
