GoPro
GoPro white silver or black, why would you choose one over the other and why?
Yes, I can't make up my mind so I'm after someone to increas the confusion.

Heh - trick answer - barely used GoPro 2's are getting cheaper and cheaper, and to my mind better bang for buck than a new 3 !!!
I prefer the SD format that the GoPro 2 uses over the MicroSD of the 3... much less fragile and fiddly. Plus the GoPro 2 uses a standard 3.5mm mic
plug not some dicky proprietary thing like on the 3.
If you're set on a GoPro 3 then go the Black... sure it comes with the WiFi remote, but the 60fps would be the main reason for me. No point spending
more $$$ without it being better somewhere.
Generally I'm not convinced on how solid the firmware is for the GoPro 3 just yet... my GoPro 2's work perfectly (I have three of 'em), while every
GoPro 3 I've encountered has been a major PITA getting the Wifi connections reliable...

I recently purchased a GoPro hero 3.
I,m very happy with my decision to buy the white edition, i didn,t need the extra mp feature the black edition gives you with the still photo,s.
The silver one takes footage at 60fps which for my application was overkill. (motorsport see attached vid http://youtu.be/odRUJz8wClc )
Dave and i tried to hook my GoPro up with the WiFi remote and we did fail, however i don,t think we were doing it right.
Which ever one you buy they are a great little toy.
Cheers Col
