WTD: VF34 IHI Turbo

Not the usual item lying around the shed but does anyone have a good second hand unit hidden away?

I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Barry doesn't get driven enough to blow anything up. Nope I'm doing engine mods and want this turbo, won't be happy until its 300hp plus!

Maybe try rexnet.com.au or wrx.com.au
Should be plenty for sale on any Subaru forum.
Ive got a P18 housing lying around somewhere but for better top end you're better off with a P20 housing.

My experience with Suby forums is its a lottery. You buy stuff that is stuffed! Too many people offload stuff they bought which is not up to scratch.

Fair enough. Just a suggestion.
I guess the same could be said for a lot of forums these days.
I suppose it gets down to buying off reputable people and knowing what to look out for. There was a great deal on new ones recently for close to $1k. I'd prefer to buy new at a few $s more and be sure.
What's your budget.

If you can tell me where to buy a VF34 for $1k then I'll grab it more than likely.

I know it was a long shot but I know more people and find it a more honest forum than others, so worth a try.

Special deal was last year from memory and a little over $1k.
There is one on eBay at the moment and is claimed to be only. 1-1,500 klms old.
Starting at $600.
I'd expect to pay $6-800 for a 2nd hand "good" one.
