WTB Type 3 bits
WTB the following OG parts. Willing to pay reasonable market value for good to exc condition parts.
Type 3 headlight surround need 1 or will buy pair if that's what you got. The one with the beam adjuster screw. Want original German VW item.
Early wide five Type 3 hub caps. Reverse logo. ( VW symbol is not raised. It is embossed lower for filling with paint). OG please or will consider
high quality repro if such an item exists.
PM for phone number.
I am located in Sydney but I can organize a courier pickup if parts are interstate.

I'm not sure as I've nothing to compare with. Sorry. Just want some in good condition.
For type 3 smoothies. They don't use the metal clips on the rim like beetle rims. They kinda just press in over bumps in the rim centre. I imagine
they need to be deeper than beetle caps to make effective engagement on those bumps.

Sent PM with my ph number. Can send pics to my phone if its a hassle to pm the pics. I'm looking for a nice set. with little or no scratches or
dents.
Definitely want the headlight if its in good condition.
Even if I end up with an extra one I'll pick the best two and keep the other as spare or sell again when I'm done with the build.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have a few leads now which I'm following up by PM and may in fact buy more caps than I'll eventually use but I think
it's good to have a few spares.
Klaus, if you've got a swap stand I might have to bring my transporter again.
You wouldn't by any chance have another of those roof racks like you sold to that guy with the white fasty at Berry.?
I didnt get a chance to say hello but I was floating around with my cameras takin a few photos of your Bustle of Buses.
