My 73 non super bettle


Bought this little bug from mick motors and it was white full or rust and just sad looking. 2 years of restoring him and he's almost finished :) His name is Kermit :)

Looks excellent

a good year for torsion bar beetles too..

just need a front disc brake upgrade ..

although No beetles were ever sold in the USA with disc brakes.. even in 1976 etc..

only Karmann made cars had discs..

We have the disks on the front and drums on the rear. Trying to keep it pretty original and down cost but that's not gunna happen haha

It will be finished hopefully by June/July :)

The colour I think is called ithica Verdi, which is the colour of lambos :)

Excellent! I look forward to seeing Kermit parked up with the rest of us then :)

It's MUCH lighter than Scirocco green. Can't wait to see the finished product!

No no not auction... ACTION Day. No one's car is going under the hammer :p

It's at Wynnum, and it's in September. Keep an eye on the coming events section for more info when the VWDCQ post a thread about it! It's basically a great big show and shine and swap meet!

Oops typo baha. I've been to that show before :) last year I think. Was a great day. Ill keep an eye out for that :)
